Zusammenfassung

Die Hypothermie stellt eine therapeutische Herausforderung für die Notfallmedizin dar. Im Falle eines Herz-Kreislauf-Stillstands muss nach den Empfehlungen der ILCOR reanimiert werden und der Patient schnell in ein Zentrum gebracht werden, dass über spezielle technische Ausstattungen verfügt, die z. B. eine extrakorporale Zirkulation ermöglichen. Für alle hypothermen Patienten mit erhaltener Herz- und Atemfunktion ist ein vorsichtiges Wiedererwärmen ohne Herz-Lungen-Maschine zu empfehlen.

Abstract

Hypothermia is a therapeutic challenge in emergency medicine. In case of cardiac arrest resuscitation must be started due to ILCOR recommendations and the patient must be transported to a hospital in which the patient can be rewarmed by advanced techniques, e.g. extracorporal circulation. Patients with normal cardiac and respiratory function should be rewarmed cautiously without using extracorporal circuits.
