Zusammenfassung

Die Westfalenmetropole Dortmund gehört zwar zu den dicht besiedelten Gebieten Deutschlands, doch neben der Großstadtrettung im Kerngebiet sind in den Randgebieten auch ländliche Versorgungsstrukturen zu finden. Die Berufsfeuerwehr stellt mit den Hilfsorganisationen die rettungsdienstliche Versorgung in diesem Gebiet sicher. Insgesamt 15 Krankenhäuser aller Versorgungsstufen stehen zur Aufnahme zur Verfügung. Der ärztliche Leiter Rettungsdienst und zusätzliche Einheiten für den Großschadensfall ergänzen den Regelrettungsdienst. Verschiedene Module sind in den letzten Jahren entwickelt worden, um die Individualversorgung zu verbessern. So sind Versorgungskonzepte zum Schlaganfall, zur Frühdefibrillation, zur präklinischen Lyse und Infarkttherapie entwickelt worden. Die Reanimationsdatenerfassung zeigt beispielhaft die Notwendigkeit neuer Konzepte zur Datenerfassung, um eine Optimierung und Qualitätssicherung in der präklinischen Versorgung zu erreichen.

Abstract

Although the Westphalian city of Dortmund is one of the densely populated regions of Germany, in addition to the metropolitan rescue service in the center zone, rural service structures can also be found in the outskirts. The professional fire brigade provides for emergency medical services (EMS) in this area together with aid and relief organizations. A total of 15 hospitals representing all levels of care are available for admittance. The EMS team is augmented by the medical director of EMS and additional units for events of large-scale damage. Various modules have been developed in the last few years to improve individual medical treatment. Care concepts for strokes, early defibrillation, preclinical lysis, and infarction therapy have been designed. Data acquisition on resuscitation illustrates the need for new concepts on data collection to achieve optimization and quality assurance of preclinical care.
