Zusammenfassung

Ein arbeitsmedizinisches Kolloquium in der Klinik für Berufskrankheiten in Bad Reichenhall befasste sich im September mit offenen Fragen zur neuen Berufskrankheit „Silikosekrebs“. Es wurde deutlich, dass der Versicherungsfall den röntgenologischen Nachweis einer Lungensilikose 1/1 nach der ILO-Klassifikation voraussetzt. Maßgebend ist ein Standardröntgenfilm. Zum Nachweiswert durch Computertomographie und pathologisch-histologische Untersuchungen besteht noch Forschungsbedarf. Große Unsicherheiten bestehen bei gemischten Tätigkeiten, da die neue Berufskrankheit den Steinkohlebergbau nicht erfasst. Zur Optimierung der Präventionsarbeit sollte das Gefahrstoffrecht bald fortentwickelt werden.

Abstract

A colloquium on occupational medicine at the Clinic for Occupational Diseases in Bad Reichenhall, was concerned with open questions on the new occupational disease “silicosis cancer”. It was clear that for insurance purposes, silicosis of the lungs (1/1 according to the ILO classification) must be detected by X-ray examination. A standard X-ray film is the most important documentation, computer tomography and pathological histological investigations still require more research. Mixed occupations are still largely uncertain because coal mining is not included in the new occupational disease. For optimisation of the preventative measures, the legislation on dangerous materials should be developed further.
