Plattenosteosynthese beim geschlossenen Unterschenkelschaftbruch

Zusammenfassung

Die Plattenosteosynthese hatte in den 70er und 80er Jahren bei der operativen Versorgung des geschlossenen Unterschenkelschaftbruchs einen hohen Stellenwert, hat aber mit Einführung des unaufgebohrten Marknagels zunehmend an Bedeutung verloren. Es wird daher eine aktuelle Standortbestimmung durchgeführt. Dargestellt werden Indikationen zur Plattenosteosynthese bei speziellen Frakturformen, bei kindlichen und pathologischen Frakturen sowie die Operationstechnik, Komplikationsmöglichkeiten und die Nachbehandlung.

Abstract

In the 1970s and 1980s plae fixation ranked high among the treatments available for closed fractures of the lower leg, but it declined in importance after the introduction of the unreamed nail. The current position of this technique is therefore reviewed. Indications for plate fixation in special fracture types, fractures in children and pathologic fractures are presented, as are the surgical technique, possible complications, and postoperative care.
