Zusammenfassung

Die moderne Amputationschirurgie am Unterschenkel verfolgt das Ziel, einen funktionsfähigen, endbelastbaren und prothetisch gut zu versorgenden Stumpf zu bilden. Die Grundzüge der Unterschenkelamputationen werden unter Berücksichtigung der Nachbehandlung und Begutachtung erläutert.

Abstract

The aim of modern below-knee amputation is to create a functional stump which is capable of weight-bearing and allows a prosthesis to be used. The principles of below-knee amputation surgery are explained, as are the recommendations for postoperative treatment and information on expert evaluations.
