The Metals in Biology Gordon Research Conference will meet between January 25 and 30, 2015 in Ventura, CA. Jim Mayer (chair) and Joanne Stubbe (vice chair) have organized a wonderful conference with the Thursday evening lecture by Jay Groves. The lecture is followed by a joint poster session with the Bioinorganic Chemistry Gordon Graduate Seminar, chaired by Tom J. Lawton with associate chair Kelly Chacon. The Bioinorganic Chemistry GRS is a very good venue to meet up-and-coming bioinorganic students and postdocs and welcome them into our bioinorganic community.

As always at the end of the calendar year, remember to renew your SBIC Membership! Please encourage your students to join also
