Zusammenfassung

Die spontane Ruptur eines Aneurysma verum der tiefen A. profunda femoris ist ein seltener gefäßchirurgischer Notfall, der in Kooperation zwischen Gefäßchirurgen und Radiologen eines Gefäßzentrums mit gutem Ergebnis behandelt werden kann. Im folgenden Fall wurde die A. profunda femoris nach exakter radiologischer Lokalisationsdiagnostik mithilfe eines PTFE-Interponats im 3. Segment rekonstruiert und so die periphere Strombahn vollständig erhalten.

Abstract

Spontaneous rupture of a true aneurysm of the deep profunda femoris artery (PFA) is a rare emergency situation in vascular surgery which can best be treated in cooperation between vascular surgeons and radiologists in a specialist unit for vascular diseases. In the case described the PFA was reconstructed with a PTFE graft in the third segment after immediate and precise radiological localization diagnostics, therefore preserving the peripheral vessels.
