Abstract
Before starting hemodialysis treatment, every patient needs a long-term access plan. For this, a complete examination of all superficial arm veins as well as the deep veins in the upper arm including the central venous drainage are necessary. In most of the patients, CO2-venography provides complete information about their respective venous trees which can be easily read and documented. This is a quick and easy method with low costs.
