Zusammenfassung
Für die Palliativmedizin ergeben sich in der Sterbephase folgende Aufgaben:
-
1.
die Sterbebegleitung des Patienten selbst,
-
2.
die Vorbereitung der Angehörigen auf Verlust und Trauer,
-
3.
die Identifizierung von Angehörigen mit erhöhtem Risiko für pathologische Trauerprozesse,
-
4.
die Trauerbegleitung der Angehörigen nach dem Tod sowie die Intervention bei manifester pathologischer Trauerreaktion.
Die Übergänge zwischen normaler und pathologischer Trauer sind fließend. Die Differenzierung bezieht sich auf das Maß, die Zeit und die Intensität der Trauer.
Abstract
The tasks of palliative medicine in the final phase before death are:
-
1.
Support for the dying patient himself.

2.
Preparation of the family and friends for their loss and grieving.
-
3.
Identification of family and friends at an elevated list of pathologic grieving processes.
-
4.
Support for the bereaved family and friends, and intervention in the case of any manifest pathologic grieving reaction.
The boundaries between normal and pathologic grieving are fluid. The two states differ in the extent, duration and intensity of grieving.
