Das vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) geförderte Projekt COSMOS-Healthcare bietet mit www.krebsgemeinschaft.de Krebspatienten kompetente Information zu ihrer Erkrankung und begleiteten Austausch im Internet. Der Bedarf an verlässlicher Information ist so hoch wie die Fülle des Angebots breit ist. Neu am Konzept von www.krebsgemeinschaft.de ist der Versuch, eine virtuelle, internetbasierte Gemeinschaft unter den Betroffenen zu entwickeln, ergänzt durch kompetente, unabhängige medizinische Informationen.
