Die „einfache“ zervikale Dystonie

Zusammenfassung

Die Fehlhaltung bei zervikaler Dystonie ist oft durch ein komplexes Zusammenspiel mehrerer Muskeln bedingt. Es gibt jedoch auch Fälle, die durch die dystone Aktivität eines Muskels bedingt sind. Die Inspektion und Palpation ermöglichen die einfache Identifizierung. Eine Abgrenzung gegenüber somatoformen Bewegungsstörungen und motorischen Tics sowie der Ausschluss einer sekundären Dystonie sind wichtig, spielen aber für die Wahl der symptomatischen Therapie (fokale Chemodenervierung mittels Botulinumtoxin) nur eine untergeordnete Rolle.

Abstract

Muscles contracting into unnatural positions in cervical dystonia is often caused by the complex interaction of numerous muscles. However, there are also cases due to dystonic activity of a single muscle. Examination and palpation allow these to be easily identified. Differentiation between somatoform movement disorders and motor tics and the exclusion of secondary dystonia is important, but play only a minor role in the selection of symptomatic therapy (chemodenervation with botulinum toxin).
