Ermittlung von Mangelernährung bei älteren Patienten

Übersetzung des NUFFE Fragebogens

Zusammenfassung

Ältere Patientinnen und Patienten sind besonders anfällig für schwerwiegende Folgen einer Mangelernährung, daher ist es wichtig, ein Risiko für Mangelernährung frühzeitig zu identifizieren. Zu diesem Zweck wurde das NUFFE Instrument (Nutritional Form For the Elderly) für ältere Menschen entwickelt. Bisher gibt es keine deutsche Übersetzung des NUFFE Instrumentes. Daher ist das Ziel, den NUFFE Fragebogen im Zuge eines systematischen Übersetzungsprozesses nach den ISPOR-Kriterien in die deutsche Sprache zu übersetzen und in einem kognitiven Debriefing zu überprüfen. Es stellte sich heraus, dass das Instrument leicht verständlich und inhaltlich relevant ist. Die übersetzte deutsche Version des NUFFE Fragebogens muss nun jedoch noch weiter auf ihre psychometrischen Eigenschaften hin überprüft werden.

Abstract

Elderly people are particularly prone to serious consequences of malnutrition. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to identify a risk of malnutrition early. The NUFFE (Nutritional Form For the Elderly) tool was developed for elderly patients, but to date there is no German translation of the NUFFE instrument. Therefore, the aim of this study is to translate the NUFFE questionnaire into German using a systematic process according to the ISPOR criteria as well as to perform a cognitive debriefing. The tool was easy to understand and the content was relevant. Nevertheless, the translated version of the NUFFE questionnaire still has to be verified for its psychometric properties.
