Zusammenfassung
Urininkontinenz (UI) ist ein weit verbreitetes Pflegephänomen in österreichischen Krankenhäusern. Gezielte Interventionen zur Behandlung von UI werden dort jedoch nur unzureichend angeboten. Im Rahmen des Studiums der Gesundheits- und Pflegewissenschaft an der Medizinischen Universität Graz wurde in einem Projekt der Frage nachgegangen, welche Maßnahmen zur Behandlung der Stress-, Drang- und Mischinkontinenz laut wissenschaftlicher Literatur effektiv sind. Dazu wurden eine systematische Literaturrecherche in den Datenbanken Medline, Cochrane Library, Embase und CINAHL im Jänner 2010 sowie eine kritische Analyse der identifizierten Artikel durchgeführt.
