There was an error in the calculation of the rate constants in p. 849 and they were three orders of magnitude too large.

“The k value obtained from the slope of the linear fit and the [dithionite] used yield k ≈ (0.8 ± 0.1) × 10⁶ M⁻¹ s⁻¹. The rate constant calculated from the data of Lassmann et al. [12, 13] was k ≈ 4 × 10⁶ M⁻¹ s⁻¹” should be replaced with “The k value obtained from the slope of the linear fit and the [dithionite] used yield k ≈ (0.8 ± 0.1) × 10³ M⁻¹ s⁻¹. The rate constant calculated from the data of Lassmann et al. [12, 13] was k ≈ 4 × 10³ M⁻¹ s⁻¹.”
