Abstract

The book aims to provide a foundation for systematic study of the interplay between macroprudential regulation and monetary policy. It is an excellent introduction to the field and will serve as a textbook for graduate students and a reference for academic economists for many years to come. Although its focus is on middle-income countries, a large part of the book can be used in any standard graduate macroeconomics course.
