Summary.
Double rare earth monomethylammonium selenates of the general formula CH3NH3 Ln (SeO4)2·5H2O (Ln = Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Ho, Y) were synthesized and characterized using X-ray powder diffraction and infrared spectroscopy. The thermal decomposition of the compounds were investigated using TG, DTG, and DTA techniques.
