Abstract

A series of 5,6-epoxynorcantharidin mono-amide and imide derivatives were designed and synthesized. MTT cell inhibition experiment shows that 5,6-epoxy compounds have good biological activity compared with the corresponding 5,6-olefin compounds and their hydrogenated products.
