Abstract.

The angular distributions of fragments resulting from the complete fragmentation of a three-body rigid rotator are considered. It is shown that the symmetry of the initial bound state induces the symmetry of the angular distributions. Examples of the angular distributions corresponding to different values of the angular momentum of the initial state are presented using the technique of Dalitz plots.
