Abstract
Rheumatoid arthritis is a multi systemic autoimmune response which has an intra- and extraarticular manifestations. Spontaneous pneumothorax in rheumatoid patients has been reported in the literature. We report a case of a bilateral pneumothoraces following uncemented hip hemiarthroplasty in a rheumatoid arthritis patient. This has never previously been reported in the literature.
