Secondary chondrosarcoma of the proximal phalanx of 4th toe – a case report with literature review

Abstract

The authors reported a case of a secondary chondrosarcoma of the proximal phalanx of the fourth toe. This is a rare lesion in which radiological and histological findings are presented. A radical excison is the right way to minimize the risk of local recurrence.

Les auteurs rapportent un cas de chondrosarcome secondaire de la première phalange du quatrième orteil. Les caractéristiques radiologiques et histologiques de cette lésion rare sont présentées. L’excision radicale est le meilleur moyen de minimiser le risque de récidive locale.
