Case Report

Abstract

Aneurysmal bone cysts (ABCs) are benign lesions that are uncommon in the spine. Both investigation and treatment of these lesions can present significant difficulties. We report an unusual presentation in an adolescent with a delayed diagnosis of ABC. This case emphasises the need for extra vigilance in young patients with significant symptoms.
