Abstract

This report describes gingival vascular hamartoma in a 2.5-month-old female Holstein calf. Macroscopically, the mass was 4 × 3 × 1.5 cm in size, 5.5 g in weight, and reddish gray in color. The mass was localized on rostral mandibular gingiva adjacent to the central incisor teeth. Microscopically, the mass was characterized by proliferation of structurally normal blood vessels with all supporting elements.
