Zum Stand und möglichen Entwicklungen der REACh-Verordnung

Kurzfassung

Mit der endgültigen Verabschiedung der Verordnung über die Registrierung, Evaluierung und Autorisierung von Chemikalien (REACh) im Dezember 2006 steht nun außer Frage, dass zukünftig auf Hersteller, Importeure und Anwender von Chemikalien eine höhere Eigenverantwortung in Hinblick auf die Bewertung und den Umgang mit gefährlichen Stoffen liegen wird. Für den Erfolg von REACh wird entscheidend sein, wie die Neuverteilung von Verantwortlichkeiten, Abläufen und Kontrolle tatsächlich organisiert wird. Vor diesem Hintergrund diskutiert dieser Beitrag verschiedene Aspekte der Umsetzung von REACh.
