Abstract:

Ventral pancreatitis, pancreatitis localized in the embryologic ventral pancreas, is rare. This report presents a patient suspected to have ventral pancreatitis on endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging.
