Correction to: Supportive Care in Cancer (2022) 30:5277–5287
In the first sentence under Data sources on page 5278, we defined the study population erroneously as “All patients in Denmark, who were diagnosed with cancer and who died from cancer during January 1st 2013 to December 31st 2018…”. The correct definition of the study population is “All patients in Denmark, who were diagnosed with cancer during January 1st 2013 to December 31st 2018 and died from cancer during January 1st 2015 to December 31st 2018”. The difference is that we have not included patients died from cancer during 2013 and 2014, which corresponds to patients surviving less than two years. This group of patients with short survival time is satisfactorily represented in the study. The imprecise description of the population will have no influence neither on the results nor the content of the paper.
