Laparoscopic splenectomy for splenic hamartoma

Abstract.

Advances in imaging techniques have made preoperative diagnosis of splenic tumors possible. A case of successful laparoscopic splenectomy for splenic hamartoma is described here and the indications of this technique are discussed.
