Erich Fromms Sozialpsychoanalyse und ihre Bedeutung für die Gegenwart

Zusammenfassung

Erich Fromm hat vor etwa 90 Jahren eine Theorie und Methode der Analytischen Sozialpsychologie entwickelt und in der Folgezeit zur Anwendung gebracht. Die Analytische Sozialpsychologie ist es wert, in Erinnerung gerufen und auf ihre Relevanz für die Gegenwart befragt zu werden. Nach einer Einleitung werden in mehreren Abschnitten Fromms Theorie und Methode der Analytischen Sozialpsychologie detailliert nachgezeichnet. In einem weiteren Abschnitt werden Fromms humanbiologische Begründungen seiner Sozialpsychoanalyse skizziert. Deren Anwendung und Relevanz werden daran anschließend anhand der Phänotypik und Psychodynamik von Sozialcharakter-Orientierungen illustriert. Abschließend wird die Frage von Fromms Aktualität erneut aufgegriffen.

Abstract

About 90 years ago Erich Fromm developed and subsequently applied a theory and method of psychoanalytic social psychology. It is worth recalling and questioning psychoanalytic social psychology for its relevance for the present. After an introduction, Fromm’s theory and method of psychoanalytic social psychology are outlined in detail in several sections. A further section then will sketch Fromm’s human biological foundations of his social psychoanalysis. Their application and relevance are illustrated in a further section on the basis of the phenotype and psychodynamics of social character orientations. Finally, the question of Fromm’s topicality is taken up again.
