Unübersichtlichkeit als Folge von zunehmendem Pluralismus in Praxis, Theorie und Forschung birgt die Gefahr, sich zwischen den vielfältigen analytischen Welten zu verlieren. Zur kontinuierlichen Orientierung gibt es einen konstruktiven, wenngleich beschwerlichen Weg: nämlich einen konsequenten Bezug auf die theoretische Basis und die historischen Wurzeln ebenso wie auf die sich abzeichnenden zukunftsweisenden Trends. Dies stets geerdet durch den Bezug auf die Arbeit in der analytischen Situation, auf die – schon von Freud intersubjektiv angelegte – geteilte Erfahrung von Patient und Analytiker. Der interessierte Blick des Klinikers auf die reiche gehaltvolle Theoriediskussion (hier diskutiert am Beispiel Gegenübertragung) kann gerade in schwierigen klinischen Konstellationen Orientierung und Sicherheit geben.

Dabei braucht es zur Weiterentwicklung der Psychoanalyse eine lebendige Vielfalt, den Input aus vielen analytischen Welten, speziell etwa auch aus anderen Wissenschaften vom Menschen, denn, wenn wir im Diskurs über die Psyche nicht aktiv mitspielen, droht uns eine Verzwergung.

Abstract

Confusion as a result of increasing pluralism in practice, theory and research runs the risk of one becoming lost between the multiple psychoanalytic worlds. There is a constructive but difficult path to continuous orientation: namely, a consistent reference to the theoretical basis and to the historical roots as well as to the emerging future trends. This is always grounded by the reference to the work in the psychoanalytic situation, to the shared experience of the patient and the analyst, already intersubjectively conceptualized by Freud. The interested glance of the clinician on the rich theoretical discussion (discussed here with respect to the example of countertransference) can provide orientation and security, especially in difficult clinical constellations. For the further development of psychoanalysis, it requires a vivid variety, the input from many analytic worlds, especially from other human sciences, for if we are not actively involved in the discourse on the psyche, we are threatened with being dwarfed.
