Hass- und Gewaltfantasien in Zeiten negativer Modernisierung

Zusammenfassung

Am Beispiel von Anders Breivik wird die Herausbildung eines terroristischen Subjekts im Rahmen gesellschaftlicher Modernisierungs- und Entwurzelungsprozesse auf psychoanalytische Weise nachvollzogen. Die Bedeutung von Hass- und Vernichtungsideologien, elterlicher Mangelerfahrung und früher emotionaler Traumatisierung wird dabei hervorgehoben. Terroristische Handlungen können dann als narzisstisch-destruktive Externalisierung einer ursprünglich gegen das liebesbedürftige Selbst gerichteten Vernichtungsdrohung und als maligner Selbstrettungsversuch verstanden werden. Um der mit dieser Perspektive verbundenen Gefahr der Psychopathologisierung entgegenzuwirken, wird das terroristische Subjekt als ein personifiziertes gesellschaftliches Symptom von Entmenschlichung verstanden.

Abstract

The example of Anders Breivik illustrates the development of a terrorist subject in the context of processes of modernization and social dislocation in a psychoanalytic manner. The importance of hate and destruction ideologies, the lack of parenting experience and early emotional trauma are highlighted. Terrorist acts can then be understood as a narcissistically destructive externalization of a threat of annihilation, originally directed against the part of the self needing affection, and as a malignant attempt to save oneself. To counter the danger of psychopathologization associated with this perspective, the terrorist subject is understood as a personified social symptom of dehumanization.
