Zusammenfassung

Anhand einer Fallvignette und der Darstellung einer Traumserie im Verlauf einer psychoanalytischen Behandlung wird transparent, dass die Bearbeitung des manifesten Traumes durch Symboldeutung und das Ringen um das Verstehen des latenten Traumes in die Gestaltung des nächsten Traumes der Traumserie einfließen. Unter einer Traumserie versteht der Autor Träume mit einer klar umrissenen Grundthematik, die in verschiedenen Variationen Ausdruck der Tendenzen, Bewältigungsstrategien und Lösungsansätze eines zentralen Themas (Fokalkonflikt) darstellen. Die Sozialisation der Klientin zeigt eine hervorstechende Besonderheit. Frau J. verbringt einen großen Teil ihrer Kindheit auf einer Burg, und um dieses Burgthema kreisen die Träume einer ganzen Serie, die sie in die Therapie einbringt. Die Deutungsversuche in den Stunden beeinflussen die nächste Traumproduktion, und serpentinenartig gelangt die Klientin vom Fuß zur Spitze des Burgberges und damit zu mehr Selbsterkenntnis, spielt Konfliktvariationen durch, probiert Alternativlösungen aus. Solcherart nähert sich die Klientin sukzessive ihrem Fokalkonflikt, symbolhaft dargestellt durch die Burg—Ort ihres Aufwachsens—und kann schließlich ihre Repräsentanzenwelt erweitern und gesunden.

Abstract

Exemplified by the presentation of a case and of a dream series during a psychoanalytic treatment it is made obvious, that the interpretation of the manifest dream by decoding the symbols and the wrestling for understanding the latent dream influence the creation of the following dream. The author considers as dream series dreams having a clear and contoured main theme, and representing in its different variations the tendencies, coping strategies and efforts for solutions of the central theme, the focal conflict, of the client. The socialisation of the client shows one outstanding fact: Mrs. J. spent parts of her childhood in a fortress and in the dream series, she brings with, the fortress-theme plays an important role. The attempts of dream interpretation influence the production of the next dream of the series and the client achieves by moving from the foot to the top of the mountain, on which the castle is placed, more self-knowledge, plays through different variations of the conflict, tries alternative solutions, widens her field of representations and recovers.
