We are grateful to have our manuscript entitled “Long-term intraocular pressure changes after vitrectomy for epiretinal membranes and macular hole” in Graefe’s Arch Clin Exp Ophthalmol.
Sorry, but we found errors in the text and Table 3. The numbers of cases are correct but some of the percentages are incorrect.
The correct percentage terms in Table 3 should be:
Table 3 The proportions of the intraocular pressure (IOP) increases 4 mmHg or greater compared with baseline.
12 M | Final | |
ERM operated n = 57 | 3 (5.3 %) | 4 (7.0 %) |
ERM fellow n = 57 | 0 (0.0 %) | 4 (7.0 %) |
MH operated n = 61 | 5 (8.2 %) | 10 (16.4 %) |
MH fellow n = 61 | 1 (1.6 %) | 7 (11.5 %) |
Also, the correct percentage terms in the original manuscript (page 391, paragraph 1, line 5) should be:
“group (P =1.00) and 10 (16.4 %) operated eyes and 7 (11.5 %)”
