In the meantime, the establishment of a new society has proceeded rapidly since the Business Meeting was held in Lisbon, 31 May 2011. During the 15th Congress of the EFNS in Budapest, Hungary, 10–13 September 2011, Zohar Argov, ENS President; Gustave Moonen, Secretary General ENS; Richard Hughes, EFNS President and Detlef Kömpf, Secretary General EFNS, signed a historic agreement to merge the two societies.
