We extremely appreciate the interest shown in our article by Dr. Mladina et al. Our group agrees that there are many other procedures that are feasible to perform in the surgical model, but the goal of our study was to establish the learning curve of a training surgeon on the first stages of the FESS training.

Therefore, we do not extend as much as we would have liked in anatomical issues of the model, since it has already been described by other authors. We do not have experience on surgical procedures on lamb’s head. This is due to the fact that in our country it is easier to acquire sheep’s head instead of lamb’s head. Either way, we are conscious of the utility of the lamb’s head shown by Dr. Mladina group, and in that sense our article cited it as a reference.
