Supplementary file1 Video 1 Preoperative placement of iliac balloon catheters was used in this case of placenta previa and percreta with previous cesarean section. In such cases, we usually only need one tape to temporary block the uterine branch of ovarian artery near fundus as uterine arteries were blocked by iliac balloon catheters. We also used lower tapes to block branch blood vessels to lower uterine segment. We can see in the video that the filminess and breakage in sites of placental attachment, but with our technique, we didn’t need to repair it, compression sutures could close the defects naturally. We had successfully achieved hemostasis and reserved uterine (MP4 275776 KB)

Supplementary file2 Video 2 In the case of placenta previa and accreta, without preoperative placement of iliac balloon catheters, we used two rubber tapes to temporary block the uterine blood supply. A simple and effective surgical method were presented for placenta previa with previous cesarean section (MP4 194329 KB)
