We regret a typo error in the official publication of “Materials and methods”, animals section’s last paragraph. In this section, the fifth line amount of 5 mM Evans Blue dye introduced through the jugular vein should be 0.2 ml instead of 2 ml. The correct sentence is given below:
Following a neck dissection, 0.2 ml of 5 mM Evans Blue (Sigma-Aldrich, USA) dye was introduced through the jugular vein to evaluate the vascular permeability.
