Zusammenfassung
Mentoring ist ein lange existierender Teil der medizinischen Ausbildung. In diesem Artikel soll die Begrifflichkeit eingeordnet und Voraussetzungen, Vorteile der Beteiligten sowie Möglichkeiten der Strukturierung beleuchtet sowie der Einsatz und die Bedeutsamkeit im Rahmen der Rhythmologie diskutiert werden. In diesem Rahmen werden sowohl persönliche Voraussetzungen der beteiligten Personen und Institutionen vorgestellt als auch verschiedene Phasen und Arten des Mentorings diskutiert.
Abstract
Mentoring has long been a fundamental part of medical education. In this article, the term mentoring is defined and the requirements, advantages, and methods of structuring are discussed. Further, the use of mentoring in the context of education in electrophysiology will be highlighted. In this setting, requirements on the personal level of mentors and mentees as well as on the institutional level are outlined, and different phases and types of mentoring are discussed.
