Zusammenfassung

Das Belastungserleben herzchirurgischer Patienten und psychische Komorbiditäten haben Einfluss auf das Outcome und den postoperativen Genesungsprozess. Eine entsprechende psychotherapeutische Mitversorgung sollte herzchirurgischen Patienten mit psychischen Komorbiditäten dringend angeboten werden. Das Berufsfeld der Psychokardiochirurgie gilt als wenig erkundet, wird bislang nur in einzelnen Kliniken umgesetzt und bedeutet neue Herausforderungen für den Psychotherapeuten. Dessen Rolle gilt es, zu reflektieren und im Klinikalltag sorgfältig umzusetzen. Die vorliegende Reflexion soll als persönlicher Einblick in dieses spannende Berufsfeld verstanden werden. Insgesamt muss die Versorgung psychischer Komorbiditäten in der Herzchirurgie in den diagnosebezogenen Fallgruppen (Diagnosis Related Groups, DRG) abrechnungsrelevant werden.

Abstract

Psychological comorbidities and mental stress have an influence on the outcome and postoperative recovery process in heart surgery patients. Appropriate psychotherapeutic co-treatment should be offered as a matter of urgency to those patients with psychological comorbidities. The professional field of psychocardiosurgery, which is as yet little explored, is usually only implemented in specialized hospitals and presents new challenges for the psychotherapist. Its role is to reflect and be carefully implemented in everyday clinical routine. The present reflection is to be understood as a personal insight into this exciting professional field. Overall, it is important that the treatment of mental comorbidities in cardiac surgery become relevant to the diagnosis-related groups (DRG) and reimbursement.
