Zusammenfassung

Obwohl minimalinvasive Operationstechniken auch in der Thoraxchirurgie zunehmend an Bedeutung gewinnen, hat sich die VATS-Lobektomie bisher in Deutschland noch nicht als Routineverfahren etablieren können. Da sich dieses Verfahren bei korrekter Indikationsstellung durch niedrige Morbidität und Mortalität bei guten onkologischen Langzeitergebnissen auszeichnet, möchten wir an dieser Stelle das detaillierte Vorgehen am Beispiel einer rechtsseitigen Oberlappenresektion präsentieren.

Abstract

Despite a widespread general acceptance of minimally-invasive surgical procedures, VATS (video-assisted thoracic surgery) lobectomy remains limited to specialized thoracic surgery centers in Germany. Because numerous publications have reported this procedure to be associated with low overall mortality and morbidity in selected patients, we would like to present a step-by-step guide for right upper lobectomy.
