Zuammenfassung

Der Operationserfolg nach Herztransplantation soll nicht nur an physiologischen und psychosozialen Daten (wie Überlebenszeit und Sportausübung/berufliche Wiedereingliederung und Mobilität) des individuellen Patienten gemessen und bewertet werden, sondern auch im Hinblick auf die Familiensituation und insbesondere die Partnerschaft. Im nachfolgenden Artikel wird ein Bogen gespannt über die möglichen Auswirkungen eines sowohl in die Persönlichkeitsgeschichte als auch in die bestehende Partnerschaft eingreifenden Ereignisses, beginnend von der Wartezeit auf das Spenderorgan bis hin zur Zeit nach der Transplantation.

Abstract

The long-term success of a heart transplantation should not only be measured and judged by medical and psychosocial data (e.g. survival rate, physical functioning, vocational re-integration and mobility of individual patients) but also by close consideration of the quality of the family situation and especially partnerships which may need redesigning. The following article offers an overview over the possible impacts of a transplantation on the personal history of the patient as well as a patient’s existing close relationships spanning the complete intervention cycle beginning with the waiting period for a donor organ to the time after the transplantation.
