Abstract

Heart transplantation should not be treated as one event, not only from a medical perspective but also even from the perspective of mental stress. Transplantation is a process—it represents hope and quality of life but also means a tightrope walk with an uncertain outcome. The main stages will be shown below, so as to enable a better understanding of the entire transplant process.
