Zusammenfassung

Bei sechs Patienten mit komplexer Pathologie des Aortenbogens wurde die Operation über eine anteriore quere Thorakotomie durchgeführt. Dieser Zugangsweg bietet optimale Voraussetzungen für ausgedehnte Operationen im Bereich des Aortenbogens, auch in Kombination mit anderen kardialen Eingriffen.

Summary

Six patients with complex pathology of the aortic arch underwent surgery through anterior transverse thoracotomy. This approach offers excellent access for extensive aortic arch repair even in combination with coronary artery bypass grafting.
