Abstract

Hydrodynamic properties of lactosylated polyamidoamine dendrimers with different generation numbers as presented by G.M. Pavlov and coworkers have been rationalized in terms of structural homology on the basis of the regular star model. This interpretation seems to be more adequate for the experimental data than their treatment in terms of the polymer homology of dendrimer molecules using hard, nondraining (or partly draining) models of the spherical symmetry.
