Zusammenfassung

Pachydermodaktylie ist eine erworbene Verdickung der lateralen Anteile der Interphalangealgelenke. Als Ursache werden repetitive Bewegungsabläufe wie Reiben oder Kauen angenommen. Wir beschreiben die Krankengeschichte eine 17-jährigen Mannes, der sich mit den typischen Symptomen einer Pachydermodaktylie präsentiert.

Abstract

Pachydermodactyly is an acquired swelling of the lateral aspects of the fingers and is thought to be a reactive pattern due to exogenous factors, such as repetitive mechanical friction. We describe the clinical case of a 17-year-old male patient who presented with the typical symptoms of pachydermodactyly.
