Use of risk factors in determining individual coronary risk

  • Published:
Zeitschrift für Kardiologie Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

The „Deutschland SCORE“ has low predicitive power and greatly overestimates the true risk of coronary heart disease in Germany. Widespread use of this score would lead to massive over-treatment. For this reason, we cannot recommend this score for general use.
