Hot-wire anemometry in acoustic waves

Abstract

 Experimental techniques developed for the measurement of the acoustic velocity oscillation without a superimposed steady flow in gases using a hot-wire anemometer are reported. The techniques developed include amplitude and phase calibrations in standing waves.
