Zusammenfassung
Der Beitrag stellt einen Fall der Augenbeteiligung bei Nierenversagen durch Infektion mit Hantavirus vor. Ein 34-jähriger Mann erlitt im Rahmen einer akut aufgetretenen Übelkeit mit Fieber und mit Nierenversagen eine plötzliche Visusminderung. Die ophthalmologische Untersuchung ergab eine ausgeprägte Myopisierung beider Augen, aber keine Zeichen einer Infektion. Die virologische Untersuchung erbrachte den Beweis einer Hantavirus-Infektion. Im Rahmen der Behandlung des Nierenversagens besserte sich die Myopie spontan. Die transiente Myopisierung ist eine typische Augenbeteiligung bei Infektionen durch Hantaviren, die mit Nierenversagen einhergehen.
Abstract
This paper presents a case of ocular involvement during acute renal failure caused by hantavirus. A 34-year-old man suffered from sudden visual loss during acute onset fever with nausea and renal failure. The ophthalmologic examination showed myopia in both eyes and no signs of infection but virological studies revealed an infection with hantavirus. During treatment of the renal failure the myopia improved spontaneously. Transient myopia is a typical ocular involvement during infections with hantavirus which leads to renal failure.
