Zusammenfassung

Bei einer 28-jährigen Frau zeigten sich überraschenderweise asymptomatische, beidseitige inferiore, altitudinale Gesichtsfelsausfälle. Am Fundus war die Papille beidseits oberhalb des Gefäßaustrittes hypoplastisch mit einem entsprechenden Konus. Die Diagnose einer beidseitigen superioren segmentalen Optikushypoplasie wurde gesellt. Häufig, wie auch hier, war die Störung mit einem maternellen Diabetes assoziiert ist. In diesem Fall war die Anomalie auch mit einer kongenitalen Steißbeinagenesie assoziiert, die gehäuft bei maternellem Diabetes vorkommt.

Abstract

A 28-year-old woman presented with surprisingly asymptomatic bilateral inferior altitudinal visual field defects. Fundoscopy disclosed superior hypoplastic optic discs which was diagnosed as bilateral superior segmental optic hypoplasia. The patient suffered from maternal diabetes and sacral agenesis syndrome, which is also frequently associated with maternal diabetes.
