Zusammenfassung

Ein 8 Monate alter Säugling aus Russland mit Anophthalmus wurde mit einem an Größe zunehmenden Orbitatumor vorgestellt. Es erfolgten die Exstirpation und pathologische Untersuchung des Tumors. Histologisch handelte es sich um einen pseudozystischen Prozess mit Resten neuroektodermaler Strukturen ohne Anhalt für Malignität.

Abstract

An 8-month-old infant from Russia with bilateral anophthalmia presented with an expanding orbital tumor. The tumor was extirpated and the histological examination revealed a non-malignant pseudocystic process with residual neuro-ectodermal structures.
