Abstract

For the first time, tunable lasing from a dye laser with an active polymer medium has been obtained using 1.06 μm pumping. The conversion efficiency of 43% and the tunable range of Δλ=63 nm have been reached with the use of polymethine dye in a polyurethane matrix.
