Photorefractive holography for imaging through turbid media using low coherence light

Abstract.

We report on imaging through solid scattering media with photorefractive holography using sources of low temporal and spatial coherence. Holograms were recorded through samples of moderate thickness by using low-cost light-emitting diodes. The reduction of speckle noise is demonstrated.
